Thursday April 1- Today I didn't do any research. My computer does't have internet these days. On Saturday I'd get the internet back. Before I found a few websites for my question but I can't go on it without the internet. Okay, that's all for today good-bye!
Saturday April 3- I got internet today so I did a lot of research. I also changed my question into 'What was the first manga made into an anime?' because the other question was too hard.
Monday April 5- Today I put all the information I got on this page. I think I still need more information so I'll try to find more.
Thursday April 8- I've been working on this at school sometimes but the internet never work! Now I got all the information I need and I'm working on my glog right now.
Saturday April 10- Yesterday I tried doing some work at school again but the computers were just too slow for me to do anything! But now I'm finished the draft of my written report and am almost finished my glog, I just need to add a little but of extras to it and I'm done!

The first manga made into an anime was Mighty Atom. It was made in 1963. The manga became a huge hit and so they decided to make it into an anime in 1966. Mighty Atom's name changed into Astro Boy after the Americans saw it.
It has been a boy's manga hero ever since. The creator ended the manga one year after it was made into an anime. It was shown on colour TV in 1982 and cable TV in 1996. I'm sure that many of your parents have seen it when they were young.
The creator of Astro Boy is Osamu Tezuka, the 'god of manga'. Osamu Tezuka has been a manga artist for 5 years before he created Astro Boy. He has drawn a lot of different manga but the best one he's made was of course, Astro Boy! Some of his creations were the manga of 'King Kong' (1947) 'Faust' (1949), 'Pinocchio' (1952) 'Round the World in 80 Days' (1953) and 'Crime and Punishment'. (1953)
What was Astro Boy about? Tell you the truth I don't know myself but I know how it starts! It begins with Dr. Boynton's son dieing in a car accident so he makes a robot like his son but he realizes it's not real and it will never grow up. So he saold the robot to a circus and there he got his name, Astro Boy. Astro Boy was treated cruelly by the ringmaster. Astro Boy had feelings so he felt very sad and miserable. His life at the circus was terrible. One day Dr. Elefun came and rescued Astro Boy. Under the help of Dr. Elefun, he could go on adventures and fight the evil!
How did Astro Boy fight evil anyways? Well he has a jetpack which allows him to fly and weapons like laser guns to fight. Astro Boy also had an electronic brain that allowed him to think. That's the first manga made into an anime! So if you ever happen to be watching Astro Boy, you'll know it was the first anime ever made!
